Stars in the Same Sky

I started rereading The Tao of Writing: Imagine. Create. Flow. by Ralph L. Wahlstrom (I highly recommend it to all those writer's and wannabe's out there) before crawling into bed. I read the intro and the first two chapters before shutting off the lights. Then I procede to toss and turn. The line "there are many things I'll always regret" gets stuck inside my head. I recently had lunch with an old friend from college and we had a chance to discuss how things had ended between us. As we parted, we agreed to keep in touch and work on becoming close friends again.

So this line rattled around in my brain and I realized she was on my mind. So I wrote this poem and dedicate it to her. Check it out and let me know what you think.
