And so it begins...
Well, at 3:33 am I logged onto the NaNoWriMo site and entered my word count for the day after seeing zero total collected word count for 2006 on the home page and think I may actually be the first to enter my word count but apparently it's not working yet. Oh well. So much for patting myself on the back. One of these days I may actually break my arm doing that. hehe
Anyway, my first 1,668 words were very difficult. I felt like I was yanking them kicking and screaming from my chest. But I realize that I haven't written in my journal for nearly two weeks. There's a whole lot of crap in my brain that needs to get on paper before I can freely write fiction, so first thing in the morning, I'm back to my morning pages (or mourning pages, as I like to call them) and then add another 1,667 words or more to my nano.
